Cooking Healthy Foods Everyone Will Enjoy
Do you resort to fast food drive-ups or pizza delivery on a regular basis? Most busy moms and dads believe they don’t have time to prepare healthy meals, which is why the family eats too much fast food or packaged convenience foods. The long-term effects of this lifestyle choice are apparent in current obesity trends in this country, along with the dramatic increase in rates of diabetes across all age groups. This program is designed for the busy chef in every family. You will learn shopping tips and cooking techniques that will enable you to prepare tasty and healthy meals in minutes, using seasonal fruits and veggies. Classes include cooking demonstration, taste sampling and recipes for healthy meals and snacks. Class is open to participants ages 12 and over.

Each week also includes 45 minutes of various exercises, including yoga, weights and calisthenics to promote a healthy, strong body and a positive image. Class is open to kids ages 10 - 16.
