Policies for ALL Active Adults Activities
Registration
All activities require registration even if there is no charge. Registration is on a first come, first-served basis. Brochures, calendars and flyers will show dates, times, fees, optional expenses and activity level. Payment is required at registration (unless otherwise noted). Participants are NOT registered unless paid. Minimum numbers must be met for the activity to occur. DATES, PRICES AND ACTIVITIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
Cancellation & Refunds
If the event/venue is cancelled or the Coordinator/designee cancels the trip for any reason, a full refund will be credited to your account. Participants will be notified as far in advance as possible of the cancellation. No refund will be issued if the participant fails to show up or is late and misses the van.
Waiting List
When the trip seats are filled, a waiting list will be kept if warranted. If an opening occurs, the top name on the list will be notified in person or by phone.
Departures & Returns
All trips depart and return to the Recreation Center. Participants MUST check in with staff 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Return times are approximate – please be flexible. No one will be allowed to disembark from the van at any place other than the Recreation Center and prearranged destinations.
Trip Etiquette
Register early so we may adhere to reservations, deadlines and policies. All trips are smoke free. Seat belts usage is required. When boarding the van, please keep in mind that some passengers are less mobile than others and cannot move easily to the rear seats. Be considerate of other passengers in the confined interior of the van by bathing regularly and using perfumes and aftershaves in moderation. If appropriate, bottled drinks and sack lunches may be brought on the van. Please remove all trash and personal items from seats and floor after the trip returns. Please observe physical activity levels of trips.
