Eligibility Requirements

Final Plat Process (Summary)

  • Applicant surveys the proposed Subdivision.

  • Applicant obtains commitment to serve from all utilities and service providers.

  • Applicant prepares Final Plat submittal, incorporating all of the requirements of the City Council.

  • Final Plat Application submittal.

  • Staff confirmation of complete submittal.

  • Planning Commission public meeting and recommendation to the City Council

  • Applicant addresses Planning Commission recommendations.

  • Applicant completes preliminary engineering and cost estimates on public improvements.

  • Final negotiations on Subdivision Improvements Agreement.

  • Applicant prepares and signs final mylar plats, signs final SIA, obtains improvements security.

  • Applicant submits final, signed materials to the Planning Department.

  • Planning Department confirmation of complete submittal.

  • City Council public meeting and action on Final Plat, SIA, and improvements security.

  • Staff obtains all City signatures on Final Plat and SIA.

  • City records Final Plat and SIA.

  • Applicant completes final engineering.

  • Post-approval actions.
