A Message from the Chief
chief
Are you interested in helping others? Are you interested in actually applying the words "Community-Oriented Policing"? If you answered "yes" and are P.O.S.T. certified, the Fort Lupton Police Department is interested in speaking with you.

Our department offers benefits not found in big cities with large police departments. We pride ourselves in our City's low rate of major crime, but realize we must work continuously to combat some of the same scourges that trouble larger cities, such as: drugs, alcohol abuse and domestic violence.

At FLPD, we emphasize the importance of customer service. Our department motto is "Find a Way to Help." We enjoy excellent support from our citizens through community oriented policing and together we are committed to improving the quality of life in the City of Fort Lupton.

If this is what you are looking for, we encourage you to apply with the Fort Lupton Police Department. Applications are accepted at City Hall, for all positions, during regular business hours. When positions become available, applications on file will be reviewed prior to posting internally and/or externally. A City Application and Personal History Statement are required and may be downloaded from the City's web site. To be considered for an interview, both of these documents must be completed and on file with our Human Resources Department.

Ron Grannis
Chief of Police
